All three sites have searchable databases with census records transscribed by volunteers. There have been several censuses between 1803 and 1860 for Schleswig–Holstein and some earlier censuses for Denmark but so far they haven’t transscribed them all.
The district Dithmarschen is divided into two church–districts, as Northern–Dithmarschen, and Southern–Dithmarschen.
The records of the northern part are available for research in HEIDE, the leader of the archives is Mr. Duncker. The records of the southern part are availabe for research at the Rentamt in MELDORF. Mail sent requests for research for southern Dithmarschen will reach me, as I am the archival custodian of the regional church records office of South Dithmarschen. The LDS has filmed most all records of Dithmarschen, but only prior to 1800. So if you can read the old script, you can order the films at your local LDS center.
Kreis Pinneberg formed in 1875 includes Seester where my great grandparents were baptised at the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
