Many years ago I received a weeks worth of training from the Inquire vendor. Nothing ever came of this. My Masters Degree includes considerable course work in Information Science which is really another name for text or document storage and retrieval. Since Inquire is probably the premier DBMS for text storage and retrieval, there is a real interest here. I worked in the field for a year as an indexer and abstractor of technical liturature at the National Bureau of Standards giving me practical experience from all ends of this field.
